The security guard was nice, and so was the manager who conducted the first-round interview.
The interview location was not the headquarters, but a module factory less than five minutes away. By comparison, the environment was very poor, like an old factory. There was only one employee in the office on the first floor, and the desks, chairs, and cabinets all looked very old⋯
The interview office (which didn't really look like an office) was simply a space with desks and chairs in it—very basic.
The manager who conducted the first-round interview was friendly and explained the job responsibilities very clearly, so I had a good impression.
The second-round interviewer seemed to be a senior manager. This person kept me waiting for about 20 minutes, and there happened to be a meeting in the office at the time, so the interview was held at a table and chairs in a corner beside the main entrance on the first floor. There were other employees nearby as well, which was really awkward⋯ This manager tended to talk at length. The main point was that this was a new team that needed to be built, and no one would train or guide you because everyone was busy. After joining, you would need to be independent, teach yourself, figure out what everyone was doing, and try to observe, ask questions, and learn as much as possible—but whether anyone would answer you was another matter. At the end, I was invited to ask questions, but when I asked about one thing, he continued talking about something else????
In short, think it over carefully.
