The security guard was nice, and so was the manager who conducted the first-round interview.
The interview location was not the head office, but a module factory less than five minutes away. Compared with the head office, the environment was quite poor—it felt like an old factory. There was only one employee in the office on the first floor, and the desks, chairs, and cabinets all looked very old⋯
The interview office (which didn’t really look like an office) was simply a space with some desks and chairs in it—very basic.
The manager who conducted the first-round interview was friendly and explained the job responsibilities very clearly, so I had a very good impression.
The second-round interviewer seemed to be a senior manager. This person kept me waiting for around 20 minutes, and there happened to be a meeting going on in the office, so the interview was held at a table and chairs in a corner beside the main entrance on the first floor. Other employees were nearby at the time, which was really awkward⋯ This manager tended to ramble. The main point was that this would be a new team that needed to be built, and no one would train you because everyone was very busy. After joining, you would need to be independent, teach yourself, figure out what everyone was doing, and try to observe, ask, and learn as much as possible—but whether anyone would answer your questions was uncertain. At the end, I was given a chance to ask questions, but when I asked about one thing, he continued talking about something else????
In short, think it over carefully.
