It feels like quite a large company
I had one interview. During the initial phone call, the HR contact made the position sound amazing. After speaking with two managers in the interview, the discussion was fairly ordinary, though the senior manager seemed satisfied. HR contacted me quickly the next day, implying that everything was fine, and we began discussing the salary. After I provided the requested information, they also said there were no problems. They said the process would be confirmed after the long holiday break.
Then the nightmare began. After waiting for more than a week, I was confused and emailed to ask about it. They suddenly said they were still continuing the interviews, as if everything they had said verbally before was meaningless. They kept refusing to give me an answer. Finally, they told me they would proactively notify me once there was a result. After waiting a full month, I discovered that the job posting had been removed. I emailed again to ask, and only then did they say they had already found someone. Is this really an acceptable way to handle things? Do they consider the job applicant’s time worthless?
