It seems like quite a large company.
I had one interview. During the initial phone call, the HR contact made the position sound wonderful. After the interview, I spoke with two managers, and the discussion was fairly ordinary, although the senior manager seemed satisfied. HR contacted me quickly the next day, implying that everything was fine, and we began discussing the salary. After I provided the requested information, they also said there was no problem, and that the process would be confirmed after the holiday.
Then the nightmare began. After waiting for more than a week, I was confused and emailed to ask about the status. They suddenly said they were still continuing with interviews, as if everything they had said verbally before meant nothing. They kept refusing to give me an answer, and finally told me that they would proactively notify me once there was a result. After waiting a full month, I discovered that the job posting had been removed. I emailed again to ask, and only then did they say they had already found someone. Is this really an acceptable way to do things? Do they consider the job seeker's time worthless?
