Workplace reviews and discussion: 永詮機器工業股份有限公司

At first, a woman conducted a simple interview and test (she explained the questions verbally, but not very clearly, and the answers were written on the back of the résumé). She was very friendly.

The office atmosphere was rather serious and very quiet. The entire process took less than half an hour. After waiting for the supervisor (the owner's wife) to finish a meeting, the interview was held beside the supervisor's desk (in the accounting office). However, the interviewer kept looking at the computer and had not reviewed my résumé beforehand. It took several minutes before she turned around to pick up and read my résumé. The job benefits and conditions were not explained; she only demonstrated the general work content. While looking at the test questions and résumé, she was somewhat belittling and questioned my educational background. At one point, a young man was called in and reprimanded, and he did not dare say anything. Only after they finished talking did the interview continue. I can only say that this interview was not very pleasant.
