Workplace reviews and discussion: 永詮機器工業股份有限公司

At first, a lady conducted a simple interview and test (she explained the questions verbally, but not very clearly; the answers were written on the back of the résumé). She was very kind.

The office atmosphere was rather serious and very quiet. The entire process took less than half an hour. After waiting for the supervisor (the owner’s wife) to finish a meeting, the interview was conducted beside the supervisor’s desk (in the accounting office). However, the interviewer’s eyes remained on the computer and they had not looked at my résumé beforehand. It took several minutes before they turned around to pick up and read my résumé. The job benefits and conditions were not explained; they only demonstrated the general work content. While looking at the test questions and résumé, the interviewer somewhat belittled me and questioned my educational background. In the middle of the interview, a young person was called in and reprimanded, and did not dare say anything. The interview resumed only after they finished talking. All I can say is that this interview was not very pleasant.
