Workplace reviews and discussion: 永詮機器工業股份有限公司

At first, a woman conducted a brief interview and test (the questions were explained orally but not very clearly, and the answers were written on the back of the résumé). She was very friendly.

The office environment felt rather serious and very quiet. The entire process took less than half an hour. After waiting for the supervisor (the owner’s wife) to finish a meeting, the interview was conducted beside the supervisor’s desk (in the accounting office). However, the interviewer’s attention remained on the computer. She had not looked at my résumé in advance and only turned around to pick it up and read it after waiting a few minutes. The job benefits and conditions were not explained; only a general overview of the work was demonstrated. When looking at the test questions and résumé, the interviewer seemed somewhat condescending and questioned my educational background. In the middle of the interview, a young man was called in and reprimanded, and he did not dare say anything. The interview resumed only after they finished talking. All I can say is that this interview was not very pleasant.
