Workplace reviews and discussion: 永詮機器工業股份有限公司

At first, a woman conducted a simple interview and test (she explained the questions verbally, but not very clearly; the answers were written on the back of the résumé). She was very friendly.

The office atmosphere was rather serious and very quiet. The entire process took less than half an hour. After waiting for the supervisor (the owner’s wife) to finish a meeting, the interview was conducted beside the supervisor’s desk (in the accounting office). However, the interviewer’s eyes remained on the computer, and they had not looked at my résumé beforehand either. It took several minutes before they turned around to pick up and read the résumé. The job benefits and conditions were not explained; they only demonstrated the general duties. While reviewing the test questions and résumé, they somewhat belittled me and questioned my educational background. At one point, a young person was called in and reprimanded, and he did not dare say anything. The interview continued only after they finished talking. I can only say that this interview was not very pleasant.
