The colleagues are very nice. Other than that, nothing.
The bosses have some serious problems. If you’re someone with ideals and ambition, don’t even consider working here.
The employees all try to find ways to reform things and help the bosses, but the bosses won’t accept or even pay attention to it.
They live forever in a bubble where they think they’re treating employees very well, but not a single employee feels that way.
The employee turnover rate is also far too high.
All the work processes are a complete mess, and the bosses have inconsistent standards. When they do something themselves, it’s fine. When an employee follows their method, it somehow becomes wrong. If you point this out, they’ll argue with you—because apparently they’re always right.
Your job responsibilities will only keep increasing. Marketing staff are expected to handle e-commerce as well as the physical stores.
Eventually, you’ll be too busy handling the stores to deal with marketing tasks, and then you’ll be criticized in meetings for not having done them.
On top of that, there are nowhere near enough staff, and the boss doesn’t even come to work. There was once a situation where two stores were left without the boss because they didn’t show up,
so one person had to run between both stores to look after them. The boss still hadn’t shown up by the end of the workday, and didn’t express any remorse whatsoever.
So, if you value your physical and mental health, this is not the place for you.
And it’s not as if the pay is high—in fact, the salary is low, yet you’re expected to do everything under the sun.
In summary: You really don’t need to come here and waste your life.
