Guessing everything myself while channeling spirits.
Honestly, the experience of preparing the proposal and attending the meeting left me feeling quite bad. I was told to visit the client and participate in the proposal process, and the proposal deadline was moved up by two weeks, but there was no prior communication at all. At the time, I was only given last-minute notice about the meeting. Even worse, no one asked beforehand whether the meeting time worked for me, and no one told me specifically what would be discussed, leaving me to guess what was going on. This kind of communication was truly uncomfortable.
On the day of the meeting, I also discovered that the colleague in charge had made no preparations at all regarding the meeting content. Worse still, after I arrived at the agreed time, the person responsible failed to show up for a long time. I could not reach them, and they did not respond to messages on LINE or Chat. It was a truly terrible feeling, making me feel that the other party lacked a sense of responsibility and making me wonder whether this kind of teamwork could last.
Although there was clearly a discussion during the meeting about the “fees provided,” the lack of commitment from a superior meant that none of the proposals or terms could be clearly confirmed. This made the entire meeting particularly drawn-out and prevented us from effectively reaching a consensus. But to be honest, this company does still have some good partners to work with. The difficulty of collaborating was very apparent, and significant improvements are truly needed to build greater trust.
