1. Most colleagues are fairly easy to get along with.
2. The office location is very convenient for transportation.
3. There are quite a few food options nearby.
4. Parking is convenient; there is a paid parking lot behind the company.
1. The company constantly changes its decisions, and the boss’s mood is unpredictable.
2. On the surface, it is a fashion brand代理商, but in reality it has very traditional industry thinking (a family-business structure, closed-minded, with unclear promotion opportunities).
3. People are hired based on personal preferences; competence is useless. You might as well learn how to flatter people and deceive senior managers who do not understand the business (an intern who stayed less than a year at a well-known advertising agency can come here and take a position at the managerial level).
4. The company is extremely unfamiliar with the industry and operates entirely according to the boss’s personal preferences and arrogance (if you genuinely want to understand the fashion industry, joining this company will only hurt rather than help, because everything you learn here consists of incorrect ideas).
5. The salary is pitifully low.
6. Overtime hours cannot be converted into money during the same month; they can only be exchanged for compensatory leave (whether you can actually take the leave is another mystery).
7. If your duties require communicating and coordinating with vendors, congratulations—you will develop an impressive ability to haggle shamelessly. You can bargain until you become notorious in the industry, drain your partner vendors dry, and reduce prices to the point that you are blacklisted.
8. Because of work-related reasons, if any products you handle are damaged or soiled, you must pay compensation out of your own pocket (you can look up the average price of the company’s代理 products to see how much a single item costs).
9. The company’s promotional sales events attract a complicated mix of visitors. There has been an incident where a thief stole several hundred thousand dollars’ worth of goods at a sale, and the company required all sales associates on duty to compensate for the full retail value (having to pay over a hundred thousand dollars just for showing up to work—exciting, isn’t it?).
10. The entire company is an outsider to the fashion industry (sales, marketing, public relations, and so on); in the eyes of industry professionals, every aspect is laughable. If you want to become one of the people others look down on, come on in.
