1. Most colleagues are fairly easy to get along with
2. The office location is very convenient for transportation
3. There are quite a few food options nearby
4. Parking is convenient; there is a paid parking lot behind the company
1. The company changes its decisions constantly, and the boss’s mood is unpredictable
2. On the surface, it is a fashion brand agency, but in reality it has a very traditional industry mindset (a family-business structure, closed-off, with unclear promotion prospects)
3. People are hired based on personal preferences; ability is useless. You might as well learn how to flatter people and deceive uninformed senior management (an intern who did not stay at a well-known advertising agency for even a year can come here and take on a managerial-level position)
4. The company is extremely unfamiliar with the industry and operates entirely according to the boss’s personal preferences and arrogance (if you genuinely want to understand the fashion industry, joining this company will only hurt rather than help, because everything you learn here consists of misconceptions)
5. The salary is ridiculously low.
6. Overtime hours cannot be converted into money during the same month; they can only be exchanged for compensatory leave (whether you can actually take that leave is another matter)
7. If your job requires contacting and coordinating with vendors, congratulations—you will develop the shameless ability to haggle prices, cutting them so aggressively that you become notorious in the industry, drain your vendors dry, and reduce them to nothing until you end up on a blacklist.
8. Because of work-related circumstances, if any products you handle are damaged or soiled, you have to pay compensation out of your own pocket (you can look up the average price of a single agency product)
9. The flow of people in and out of the company’s special sales events is complicated. There was once a theft at a sale in which goods worth hundreds of thousands were stolen, and the company required all sales associates on duty to compensate the full retail value (wouldn’t it be exciting to come to work and have to pay over a hundred thousand?)
10. The entire company is an outsider in the fashion industry (sales, marketing, public relations, and other areas all appear laughable to industry professionals). If you want to become part of a group that is looked down upon, feel free to join.
