1. Most colleagues are fairly easy to get along with
2. The office location is very convenient for transportation
3. There are quite a few food options nearby
4. Convenient parking; there is a paid parking lot behind the company
1. The company constantly changes direction, and the boss’s mood is unpredictable
2. On the surface, it is a fashion brand代理商, but in reality it has a very traditional industry mindset (a family-run business, closed-off, with an unclear promotion system)
3. People are hired based on personal preferences; being capable is useless—better to learn how to flatter and deceive senior management who do not understand the business (an intern who stayed less than a year at a well-known advertising agency can come here and take a position at the managerial level)
4. Extremely unfamiliar with the industry and operates entirely according to the boss’s personal preferences and arrogance (if you genuinely want to understand the fashion industry, joining this company will only hurt you, not help you, because everything you learn here consists of incorrect concepts)
5. The salary is pitifully low.
6. Overtime hours cannot be converted into money during the same month; you can only take compensatory leave (whether you can actually take the leave is another story)
7. If your duties require contacting and coordinating with vendors, congratulations—you will develop an impressive ability to haggle shamelessly. You can cut prices until you become notorious in the industry, drain your partner vendors dry, and negotiate them down to the bone until they blacklist you.
8. Because of the job, if any products you handle are damaged or soiled, you have to pay compensation out of your own pocket (you can look up the average price of a single代理商品)
9. The company’s promotional sale events attract a complicated mix of people. There was once a theft at a sale event in which merchandise worth hundreds of thousands was stolen, and the company required all sales associates on duty to compensate the full retail value (Having to pay over a hundred thousand just for showing up to work—exciting, right?)
10. The entire company is made up of outsiders to the fashion industry (sales, marketing, public relations, and so on); in the eyes of industry professionals, everything is laughable. If you want to become part of a group that is looked down on, welcome.
