1. Most colleagues are fairly easy to get along with.
2. The office is in a very convenient location for transportation.
3. There are quite a few food options nearby.
4. Parking is convenient; there is a paid parking lot behind the company.
1. The company constantly changes its decisions, and the boss’s mood is unpredictable.
2. On the surface, it is a fashion brand代理商, but in reality it operates with very traditional industry thinking (a family-business structure, closed-mindedness, and an unclear promotion system).
3. People are hired based on personal preferences; having actual ability is useless. You might as well learn how to flatter people and deceive uninformed senior management (an intern who worked at a well-known advertising agency for less than a year can come here and take on a position at the managerial level).
4. The company is extremely unfamiliar with the industry and operates entirely according to the boss’s personal preferences and arrogance (if you genuinely want to understand the fashion industry, joining this company will only hurt you rather than help, because everything you learn here consists of incorrect ideas).
5. The salary is pitifully low.
6. Overtime hours cannot be converted into money in the same month; they can only be exchanged for compensatory leave (whether you can actually take the leave is another mystery).
7. If your duties require contacting and coordinating with suppliers, congratulations—you will develop the shameless skill of haggling prices. You can bargain so aggressively that you become notorious in the industry, drain your suppliers dry, and drive them to the point of being reduced to nothing, ending up on their blacklist.
8. Because of the nature of the work, if any products you handle are damaged or dirty, you have to pay compensation out of your own pocket (you can look up the average price of one of the products the company represents).
9. The company’s promotional sales events attract a complicated mix of people. There was once a theft at a sale in which merchandise worth several hundred thousand was stolen, and the company required all sales associates working that shift to compensate for the full retail value (Having to pay over a hundred thousand just for coming in to work sounds exciting, doesn’t it?).
10. The entire company is made up of outsiders to the fashion industry. Its sales, marketing, public relations, and other areas are all laughable in the eyes of industry professionals. If you want to become part of the group everyone looks down on, come on in.
