1. Most colleagues are fairly easy to get along with
2. The office location is very convenient for transportation
3. There are quite a few food options nearby
4. Parking is convenient; there is a paid parking lot behind the company
1. The company changes policies constantly, and the boss’s mood is unpredictable
2. On the surface, it is a fashion brand代理商, but in reality it operates with very traditional industry thinking (a family-business system, closed-minded, with unclear promotion prospects)
3. People are hired based on personal preferences; competence is useless. You might as well learn how to flatter and deceive uninformed senior management (an intern who spent less than a year at a well-known advertising agency can come here and take on a managerial-level position)
4. Extremely unfamiliar with the industry, making decisions entirely based on the boss’s personal preferences and arrogance (if you genuinely want to understand the fashion industry, joining this company will only count against you, not add value, because everything you learn here consists of incorrect concepts)
5. The pay is pathetically low.
6. Overtime hours cannot be converted into money during the same month; they can only be exchanged for compensatory leave (whether you can actually take the leave is another mystery)
7. If your role requires contacting and coordinating with vendors, congratulations—you will develop the shameless skill of haggling prices, cutting them so aggressively that you become notorious in the industry, drain your partner vendors dry, and reduce prices to the bone, eventually getting blacklisted.
8. Because of work-related contact with products, if any goods are damaged or stained, you have to pay compensation out of your own pocket (you can look up the average price of one代理商品)
9. The people coming in and out of the company’s special sales events are a mixed crowd. There was once an incident in which a thief stole several hundred thousand dollars’ worth of goods at a sale, and the company required all sales associates on duty to reimburse the full retail price (Coming to work and having to pay over NT$100,000 is quite an exciting experience, isn’t it?)
10. The entire company is a fashion-industry outsider (sales, marketing, public relations, and other areas all seem laughable to industry professionals). If you want to become one of the people they look down on, come on in.
