1. Most colleagues are fairly easy to get along with.
2. The office is in a very convenient location for transportation.
3. There are quite a few food options nearby.
4. Parking is convenient; there is a paid parking lot behind the company.
1. The company constantly changes its decisions, and the boss’s mood is unpredictable.
2. On the surface, it is a fashion brand代理商, but in reality, it has very traditional industry thinking (a family-business structure, closed-off, with unclear promotion prospects).
3. People are hired based on personal preferences; competence is useless. You might as well learn how to flatter and deceive senior executives who do not understand the business (an intern who did not last a year at a well-known advertising agency can come here and attain a managerial-level position).
4. The company is extremely unfamiliar with the industry and operates entirely according to the boss’s personal preferences and arrogance (if you genuinely want to understand the fashion industry, joining this company will only hurt, not help, because everything you learn here consists of incorrect concepts).
5. The salary is pitifully low.
6. Overtime hours cannot be converted into pay during the same month; they can only be exchanged for compensatory leave (whether you can actually take the leave is a mystery).
7. If your duties require you to contact and coordinate with vendors, congratulations—you will develop an impressive ability to haggle shamelessly. You can bargain until you become notorious in the industry, drain your cooperating vendors dry, and grind them down to the bone, ending up on their blacklist.
8. Because of work-related contact, if any products you handle are damaged or stained, you have to pay compensation out of your own pocket (you can look up the average price of a single agency product).
9. The company’s special sales events attract a complicated mix of people. There was once a theft at a sale in which goods worth several hundred thousand were stolen, and the company required all sales associates on duty to reimburse the full retail price (Having to pay over a hundred thousand just for showing up to work—exciting, isn’t it?).
10. The entire company is made up of fashion-industry outsiders (sales, marketing, public relations, and other areas all appear laughable to industry professionals). If you want to become part of a group that is looked down upon, welcome.
