The work environment is excellent, and the restroom is truly five-star.
Honestly, the only thing I really like about working at Everlight is that the restroom is great.
And the “colleagues” who have gone through thick and thin together are genuinely wonderful.
Some managers are truly awful.
I don't know if it's because they didn't grow up in warm families, but they work overtime all day.
They have no ideas or abilities, yet they force employees to stay and work overtime with them to fabricate data (so they can report to the top boss the next day).
We always waste a lot of time preparing “reports” and “fabricated data.” When upper management is dissatisfied, we have to redo everything.
But from start to finish, we are simply following the department manager's ideas, while the department manager doesn't even know what they themselves are supposed to report.
In addition, there are people in the department who rise through the ranks by leveraging personal relationships.
Every year, promotions and bonuses are given most generously to that same person.
Although that colleague holds the title of senior specialist, they are still doing an assistant's work. Whenever there is something they don't want to do, the manager helps push it onto someone else.
For someone who is a senior executive and also owns shares in the company, this is……truly extremely inappropriate and…utterly shameless.
