With nearly four years of experience at this company, it is honestly quite easygoing for a store associate. It only gets relatively busy during major holidays. I recommend working here to people who have a responsible attitude but do not want to do too much, and to those who dislike the many rules typical of Japanese companies. If you are not short on money, it is a good place to work toward retirement.
As mentioned above, the salary is therefore proportional to the work, so it is more suitable for people without financial or lifestyle pressures.
One very important point: Because there are many employees, the store managers and full-time staff you encounter may differ in character. During my time at several stores, I only encountered one or two people who were not very okay.
The final straw, however, was a certain clearance center. At first, the work environment at this store was harmonious, and the adjustment period went relatively smoothly. However, as time went on, I felt that internal interpersonal interactions had a significant impact on the work experience. The work atmosphere had already been affected by the ways people communicated and interacted with one another.
Over the course of working together for a long time, the way veteran employees interact with newcomers may change over time. For people who place greater importance on harmonious communication or are easily affected by the work atmosphere, such changes may create a certain amount of mental stress.
I recommend that prospective applicants pay particular attention to their interactions and ability to adapt with existing members when evaluating the position, to ensure that it meets their own workplace needs.
