With nearly four years of experience at this company, working as a store clerk is honestly quite easy. It only gets busier during major holidays. I recommend working here to people who have a responsible attitude but do not want to do too much, and to those who dislike the many rules found at Japanese companies. If you are not short of money, it is a good job for taking it easy.
As mentioned above, the salary is proportional to the workload, so it is more suitable for people without financial pressure~
A very important point: Because there are many employees, the store managers and full-time staff you encounter can differ greatly in character. Having worked at several locations, I only encountered one or two people who were not very okay.
The final straw was a certain clearance center. At first, the work environment at this store was harmonious, and the adjustment period went relatively smoothly. However, as the time spent working there increased, I felt that internal interpersonal interactions had a considerable impact on the work experience. The workplace atmosphere had already been affected by communication styles and the way people interacted.
Over the course of working together long term, veteran colleagues’ interactions with newcomers may change over time. For people who place greater importance on harmonious communication or are easily affected by the workplace atmosphere, such changes may bring a certain amount of mental pressure.
I suggest that prospective applicants pay particular attention to their interactions with existing members and their ability to adapt when evaluating the position, to ensure that it meets their own workplace needs.
