With nearly four years of experience at this company, working as a store clerk is honestly quite easy. It only gets busier during major holidays. I recommend working here to people who have a responsible attitude but do not want to do too much, and to those who dislike having too many rules like at Japanese companies. If you are not short on money, this is a good job for settling into a comfortable routine.
As mentioned above, the salary is proportional to the work, so it is more suitable for people without much financial pressure.
A very important point: Because there are many employees, the store managers and full-time staff you encounter can differ greatly in character. After working at several stores, I only encountered one or two people who were not very OK.
The final straw, however, was a certain clearance center. Initially, the work environment at this store was harmonious, and the adjustment period went relatively smoothly. However, as time went on, I felt that internal interpersonal interactions had a considerable impact on the work experience. The work atmosphere had already been affected by the ways people communicated and interacted with one another.
Over the course of working together for a long time, veteran employees’ attitudes toward newcomers may change over time. For people who place greater importance on harmonious communication or are easily affected by the workplace atmosphere, these changes may create a certain amount of mental pressure.
I recommend that prospective applicants pay particular attention to their interactions with existing members and their ability to adapt when evaluating the position, to ensure that it meets their own workplace needs.
