With nearly four years of experience at this company, working as a store associate is honestly quite easy. It only gets busier during major holidays. I recommend working here to people who have a responsible attitude but do not want to do too much, and to those who do not like having too many rules like at Japanese companies. If you are not short on money, this is a good job to coast into retirement.
As mentioned above, the pay is proportional to the work, so this is more suitable for people without financial pressure~
One very important point: Because there are many employees, the store managers and full-time staff you encounter can vary in character. I have worked at several locations and only encountered one or two people who were not particularly okay.
The final straw, however, was a particular clearance center. Initially, the working environment at this store was harmonious, and the adjustment period was relatively smooth. However, as time went on, I felt that internal interpersonal relationships had a significant impact on the work experience. The work atmosphere was already being affected by the communication styles and the way people interacted.
Over the course of working together for a long time, veteran employees’ attitudes toward new hires may change over time. For people who place greater importance on harmonious communication or are easily affected by the workplace atmosphere, these changes may cause a certain amount of psychological pressure.
I recommend that prospective applicants pay particular attention to their interactions with existing team members and how well they adapt during the evaluation process, to ensure that the job meets their workplace needs.
