The boss is a woman and a really nice person. Sometimes she treats us to snacks and drinks, and the company also covers lunch on workdays, so you don’t have to pay out of pocket. Compared with other places, it’s very generous and a good company. The drawbacks described below absolutely aren’t meant to say that this company is bad, but rather concern “a certain bad apple” in the company.
If you’re applying as an apprentice, watch out for someone with the surname Yu. From my very first day at work, he started trying to psychologically manipulate me without any consideration. I only realized after resigning that this was a horrifying experience. He might sometimes chat and joke with you, but that isn’t because he wants to get to know you—it’s because he happens to be in a good mood and feels like chatting with you. Oh, and the reason I say this is that this industry has a seniority system, like the senior-junior system in hospitals. You must not offend the company’s “senior”—the one with the surname Yu. He looks disheveled and talks big, constantly lecturing men; you say one sentence and he argues against ten. Having to spend nearly 10 hours at work with someone like this is extremely painful. If you show even a little impatience or become emotional, he won’t go easy on you either! Using his authority as a senior, he will mercilessly suppress you and erase your opportunities to grow. A major reason this company can’t recruit apprentices is definitely this bad apple’s fault. He drives people away, then complains that nobody wants to come work here~
You think you’re here to learn technical skills, but in reality you’re competing with your senior 😊 The psychological manipulation and suppression are all intended to trample you. I don’t even know how many people he has driven away before, but he won’t tell you. If you really want to come, prepare in advance for how to deal with this bad apple. I was simply too naive and thought I was just here to learn technical skills. Take care.
