What other advantages could there be to a process like this?

At Foxconn’s Mainland China A Business Group, after my interview in early March, the department head told me I would be hired. Later, I was asked to take a personality test and an English test. After some time, someone responsible for discussing compensation contacted me and asked for proof of my previous salary and year-end bonus for a salary evaluation. Then, on March 24, we discussed a possible start date of April 21 or early May, and I was asked to prepare accordingly. After the salary was agreed upon, the position was at level 7, and I was expected to start on April 21 or in early May. On April 8, they also confirmed April 21 as the date and asked me to prepare for a physical examination and submit the required documents. However, in the final hour, they said the process still required approval, and then that evening they told me that because I had failed the tests, they were very sorry but could not hire me. From the interview until yesterday, this took a month. If there was a problem with the process, that is an issue with your large company. In the end, all I got was one sentence: “Thank you for your cooperation.” Is this how a large company operates? Everyone should keep their eyes open.
