A big company

A certain business group of Foxconn in mainland China. After I finished the interview in early March, the department head said they would hire me. Later, they asked me to take personality and English tests. After some time, the person handling salary negotiations asked me for proof of my previous salary and year-end bonus for a salary assessment. Then, on March 24, we discussed the start date, which might be April 21 or early May, and asked me to prepare. The salary was agreed upon, and the position was a level 7 engineer role. They said I would start on April 21 or in early May. On April 8, they also confirmed April 21 as the date and asked me to prepare for a health examination and submit the required documents. However, in the final hour, they said the process still required approval, and then in the evening they told me that I could not be hired because I had failed the test. They apologized. From the interview until yesterday, a month had passed. The problem with this process is the issue of this large company. In the end, all they said was, “Thank you for your cooperation.” Is this how a large company operates? Everyone, keep your eyes open.
