Big pancake
A certain business group at Foxconn China. After I finished the interview in early March, the department director said they would hire me. Later, I was asked to take personality and English tests. After some time, the person handling salary negotiations asked me for proof of my previous salary and year-end bonus for a salary evaluation. Then, on March 24, we discussed a possible start date of April 21 or early May, and asked me to prepare. After the salary was agreed upon, the position was Job Grade 7. I was expected to start on April 21 or in early May. On April 8, they also confirmed April 21 as the date and asked me to prepare for a health examination and submit the required documents. Then, in the final hour, they said the process still needed approval. That evening, they came back and said that, because I had failed the test, they were very sorry but could not hire me. From the interview until yesterday, a month had passed. If there was a problem with the process, that is the problem of this large company. In the end, all they said was, “Thank you for your cooperation.” Is this how a large company operates? Everyone, keep your eyes open.
