Pros

Big company

Cons

A certain business group at Foxconn in mainland China. After my interview in early March, the department head said they wanted to hire me. Later, they asked me to take a personality test and an English test. After some time, the person responsible for discussing compensation asked me for salary documentation and year-end bonus information from my previous job to evaluate my compensation. Then, on March 24, we discussed a possible start date of April 21 or early May and asked me to prepare. After the salary was agreed upon, I was assigned to level 7 as a master’s graduate, and they said I would start on April 21 or in early May. On April 8, they also confirmed April 21 as the date and asked me to prepare for a health examination and submit documents. However, in the final hour, they said the process still required approval, and then in the evening they told me that, because I had failed the test, they were very sorry but could not hire me. From the interview until yesterday, a month had passed. The problematic process is the fault of your large company, and in the end all you said was, “Thank you for your cooperation.” Is this how a large company operates? Everyone should keep their eyes open.
