Pros

Big company

Cons

A certain business group at Foxconn China. After I finished the interview in early March, the director said they would hire me. Later, they asked me to take personality and English tests. After some time, the person handling salary negotiations asked me for salary documentation and year-end bonus information from my previous job to evaluate my compensation. Then, on March 24, we discussed a possible start date of April 21 or early May and asked me to prepare. After the salary was agreed upon, the position was a level 7 engineer role, and I was expected to start on April 21 or in early May. On April 8, they also confirmed April 21 as the start date and asked me to prepare for a health examination and submit documents. However, in the final hour, they said the process still required approval, and then that evening they told me that, because I had not passed the test, they were sorry but could not hire me. From the interview until yesterday, a month had passed. If there was a problem with the process, that is the problem of your large company. In the end, all they said was, “Thank you for your cooperation.” Is this how a large company operates? Everyone, keep your eyes open.
