The atmosphere varies greatly between departments. Although there is a mentor system, it is actually not very useful. With staffing stretched thin, people often have neither the time nor necessarily the willingness to teach you. Many people try to avoid tasks and withhold helpful information, only acting like armchair critics after you have handled the situation.
The atmosphere and environment throughout the company are extremely oppressive. Every project is continually delayed, and nothing can be driven forward efficiently.
The organizational structure is complex and inefficient, making horizontal communication virtually impossible. Each unit operates on its own, preventing effective and timely communication.
