The manager seemed to be from Hong Kong?

1st interview: Senior Engineer

They mainly asked about things you had worked on and chatted about the tools used in your work.

2nd interview: Hiring Manager

The manager explained the job responsibilities very thoroughly and also expected you to have researched what the job involved.

3rd interview: HR

The HR representative seemed very serious and explained the company benefits and salary in detail. The benefits were above average.

Summary:

1. The company takes candidates for the position very seriously.

2. The employees there seem to have stayed for a long time.

Company environment:

The office really was like what other comments described: like a workspace for operators, with a very open layout. It was relatively noisy and offered little privacy.

The office felt somewhat oppressive.

Interview impressions:

1. The IT processes and practices seemed more similar to those used in mainland China, relying on some relatively outdated methods (probably methods from 10 years ago).

2. Although HR was very serious, they came across as quite domineering and difficult to communicate with.

Summary:

1. Considering future career development, because the company is in the gambling industry and its IT practices are relatively traditional, it may be more difficult to transition to other industries.

(Please stop saying that other industries do not care about this—they really do.)

2. Regarding salary and benefits, articles from six or seven years ago said they were very good, but based on my current experience with the gambling industry, they are not particularly high.
