Three interviews in total
HR / Engineer / Manager
The manager seemed to be from Hong Kong?
1st interview: Senior Engineer
Mostly asked about things you had done and chatted about the tools used in your work.
2nd interview: Hiring Manager
The manager explained the job responsibilities very seriously and also seemed to expect you to have researched what the job involved.
3rd interview: HR
You could tell that the HR representative took the role very seriously and explained the company benefits and salary in detail. The benefits were above average.
Summary:
1. The company takes candidates for the position very seriously.
2. The employees there seemed to have stayed for a long time.
Company environment:
The office really was like what other reviews described: like a workplace for operators, with a very open and relatively noisy space and little privacy.
The office felt somewhat oppressive.
Interview impressions:
1. The IT processes and practices seemed more similar to those used in mainland China, relying on some relatively outdated methods (probably methods from 10 years ago).
2. Although HR was very serious, they came across as quite forceful and difficult to communicate with.
Summary:
1. In terms of future career prospects, because it is in the gambling industry and its IT practices are relatively traditional, it may be more difficult to move to other industries.
(Please stop saying that other industries do not care about this—it is true that they do care.)
2. Regarding salary and benefits: Articles from six or seven years ago said they were very good, but by current standards, and compared with the gambling industry companies I have encountered, they are not particularly high.
