I successfully interviewed last September, but my boss didn’t send me the offer letter until the end of October. I replied with a few questions, but never received a response. During this period, HR called to ask when I would be starting, but my boss still hadn’t answered my questions—how was I supposed to start? HR said my boss was busy abroad and asked me to wait a little longer. I directly asked whether there had been any changes, and HR firmly said there had not. This exchange went back and forth at least three times.
In the end, six months passed without a word.
I wonder if my boss 484 died abroad. How pitiful to die in a foreign land.
