Able to leave work on time

After a typhoon day is announced, the company requires employees to check the wind and rain conditions the following morning before deciding whether to go to work. Before leaving, a colleague reported that the wind and rain were severe, but the supervisor only asked whether there was flooding. When the colleague said there was not, the supervisor replied, “That’s good then. You still need to come to the office as usual, handle the tasks, and then leave early.” When training new employees, they say to ask whenever there are questions, but senior employees and supervisors are clearly impatient with employees they dislike. Their instructions are often unclear, causing new employees to make incorrect judgments, and then they blame us for not doing things based on “I thought” or “I felt.” Throughout the learning process, they basically treated me with a “negative” attitude. There was so much work that it was impossible to finish it all, leaving me overwhelmed. When I raised this with the supervisor, they simply opened their own notebook and told us that they had even more work and that we had to arrange it ourselves. I also remember that once, during an especially busy period, I made a mistake and was yelled at and blamed by the supervisor in front of everyone. When I wanted to ask a senior employee how to resolve it, I was immediately snapped at: “Are you asking me what to do now?” I genuinely needed an answer and wanted to solve the problem quickly, but in that predicament, besides panicking, I did not know what to do. Incidents like this happened repeatedly, making me feel that in this workplace, you only get a relatively friendly atmosphere if the supervisor likes you (although there is still an endless amount of work). Otherwise, no matter how much effort you put into getting up to speed as quickly as possible, the moment you make a mistake, you will be criticized as though you are completely incompetent. This work experience only made me feel that I was terrible and useless.
