Can leave work on time

After a typhoon day is announced, the company requires employees to assess the wind and rain conditions the following morning before deciding whether to go to work. Before leaving home, a colleague reported that the wind and rain were severe, but the supervisor only asked whether there was flooding. When the colleague said there was not, the supervisor replied, “Then that’s good,” and said we still had to go to the office as usual, finish handling our work, and only then leave early. When training new employees, they say to ask if there are any problems, but senior employees and supervisors are obviously impatient with employees they do not like. Their instructions are often unclear, causing new employees to make incorrect judgments, yet they then blame us and tell us not to work based on “I thought” or “I felt.” Throughout the learning process, they basically took a “negative” attitude toward me. There was so much work that it was impossible to finish everything, leaving me overwhelmed. When I raised this with the supervisor, the supervisor merely opened their own notebook and told us that they had even more work to do and that we should manage our own schedules. I also remember that once, during an especially busy period, I made a mistake and was loudly berated and blamed by the supervisor in front of everyone. When I then tried to ask a senior employee how to resolve it, they snapped at me: “Are you asking me what to do now?” I genuinely needed an answer and wanted to resolve the problem quickly, but in that awkward situation, I was not only panicked—I also had no idea what to do. Incidents like this happened repeatedly, making me feel that the workplace culture was simply that you only received a relatively friendly atmosphere if the supervisor liked you (though there was still an endless amount of work). Otherwise, no matter how much effort you made to get up to speed quickly, as soon as you made a mistake, you would be criticized as if you were completely incompetent. This work experience only made me feel that I was terrible and useless.
