The interview was simple and not difficult.
The entry requirements are low, and there is no screening of employees’ qualifications or training. Anyone looking for an easy job can get in.
There is no store manager, so essentially no one is in charge. After joining, I found that most people practically do whatever they want. Things they would not dare to do at other companies are all done here. There is no concept of workplace discipline or respect for colleagues, nor any understanding of the sales profession. Workplace bullying is severe, and reporting it is useless. Hardworking and responsible employees are seriously disadvantaged here, and those who want to make money cannot do so either, because the company often hires people fresh out of school without training them or screening for personality. It is like working with three-year-old children: they are rude to customers, resulting in customers berating them; they have poor emotional control and may even throw things and swear. When they make mistakes, they push all the blame onto others. They take all the benefits for themselves. To make work easier, they compete aggressively for days off; if they cannot win, they resort to lying; if that does not work, they simply say nothing and ignore others, refusing to coordinate. They pressure and coerce other employees over their leave. No one admits responsibility for damaged merchandise, and the person who discovers it is left holding the bag and is extremely unlucky. To make the store rank first and win bonuses, people simply fight over everything. It is a complete mess. Employees have to handle matters big and small on their own, with no support, and workplace bullying is everywhere here.
