Pros

Learn to be a well-behaved, obedient worker, drink endless bowls of poisonous motivational soup, and enjoy endlessly negative positive energy

Cons

Remember the three prohibitions:

You must not discuss the manager privately, or the manager will fire you.

You must not go against the manager’s wishes, or your bonus will be deducted—at least NT$5,000.

You must not let the manager miss out on bonuses; he will do everything he can to keep you under control.

The company worships elementary-school-style management: even buying something or going to the restroom must be reported to the manager, or you will be punished. The punishment is copying textbook passages.

Every deputy manager is the same: whatever the manager says, they obediently do it, without an opinion of their own.

Also, no matter how good your performance is, there is no year-end bonus. I worked there for three years and never received one, because the boss said, “Salespeople have performance bonuses; they don’t get year-end bonuses, okay??? ” Are you trying to deceive fresh graduates? But sales managers do get year-end bonuses—and even enough to change cars. How wonderful.

Finally, for a cleaning services company, the chief operating officer actually said, “Maintenance specialists don’t earn much; as long as the cleaning gets done, that’s enough?” As long as it gets cleaned? As long as it gets cleaned?

I sincerely recommend that fresh graduates come here—it guarantees that your values will be warped.

People with work experience are also encouraged to come, so you can become even more servile.

Just how servile is it? Working five days a week isn’t enough. If you don’t visit clients on Saturdays and Sundays, you’re considered unmotivated and your supervisor will keep an eye on you. If you have time to sleep, you might as well go to work; if you have time to play video games, you might as well go to work.

Five-star review, sincerely recommended
