The company provides newly built employee dormitories, which saves quite a bit of the hassle of renting O(∩_∩)O. However, the prerequisite is that you like living near the company! The surrounding area is all automotive-related businesses, so there are fewer food options, but the environment is quite quiet and suitable for people who enjoy a simple lifestyle. The company atmosphere is very “family-oriented”; it’s a nine-to-six schedule with no overtime, suitable for people who like a stable life. Most employees are married.
A small complaint: the boss has been in the industry for more than thirty years, and the style of older people in traditional industries is to “take care of employees like children.” The air conditioning isn’t turned on until 9:30 in the morning because they’re worried that everyone will catch a cold from the air conditioning after sweating while riding their scooters. Although sometimes you’re drenched in sweat and still have to wait a few minutes, this “thoughtfulness” really leaves you both amused and exasperated.
The boss’s friends and family also work at the company, so occasionally it feels like a “family meeting.” The personnel situation is somewhat delicate, but the pay is a little better than in the same industry, and the working hours are regular. As a former HR employee, I returned to southern Taiwan for family reasons; otherwise, I might have continued working there.
The only thing that gives me a headache is the common HR problem: the sales staff turnover is too high~~~ I’m currently looking for a job and hope I won’t have to be troubled by recruiting salespeople again in the future!
