If you want to experience a job whose actual duties are completely different from what was advertised, that might count as a benefit.
This boss often tells new employees how previous employees mistreated him, blaming all problems on the employees as if every mistake were their responsibility. After some time, you realize that even the most senior employee in the company has been there for no more than six months. The boss seems to enter the company already planning to fire employees; what he does most often is pressure employees to write resignation letters to avoid paying severance. If an employee requests the compensation for involuntary resignation to which they are legally entitled, he will even threaten to go to the labor bureau, igniting what he calls his “fighting spirit.”
The atmosphere at the company rises and falls unpredictably with the boss’s mood, making one suspect that as he grows older, his emotional control is becoming increasingly unstable. The boss is often like a “man of the wind,” with moods that change unpredictably. Even matters previously agreed upon may suddenly be reversed when his mood changes, and his principles keep shifting. When he wants to berate someone, almost anything he sees can become a trigger for an outburst. When it comes time to pay or issue salaries, his emotions are even harder to control: he repeatedly brushes off payments owed to employees, fails to pay on time, and haggles over every penny.
In reality, this position is not recruiting office staff at all, but rather the boss’s “punching bag.” If you want to experience being reprimanded or test your ability to withstand pressure, this might be the right challenge for you.
Everything stated above is entirely true. Job seekers are sincerely urged to speak with employees who have previously worked at this company before making a decision, so that they can learn about their real experiences. This will help you gain a clearer understanding of the work environment’s unique “趣味” and the various challenges involved. I hope everyone can make wise choices during their job search and avoid unnecessary trouble!
