1. Good company benefits: After completing 3 months, the company gives employees NT$5,000 in shopping credit to purchase company products. There is an afternoon tea day once a month, with plenty of delicious food. A massage therapist comes to the company twice a month to massage employees for 15 minutes per person.
2. Good company environment: The decor is comfortable and bright.
3. No need to clean: The company hires someone to clean regularly.
4. The colleagues are very nice.
5. Employees have a strong sense of loyalty to the company.
6. There are many internal and external training sessions and book clubs: You can grow together with the company.
7. Overtime is paid; you can apply for it as long as your supervisor approves.
1. At your first weekly meeting after joining the company, you have to introduce yourself. Then you have to introduce yourself again at the welcome dinner. After that, you listen to every colleague introduce themselves and explain their work. It takes a full 1–2 hours, and sometimes up to 2.5 hours. It is a huge waste of time, and there is no way a new employee can remember so many people’s faces and names all at once.
2. There are too many activities, but work still has to progress, so you have to work overtime to finish it.
3. As a startup, the company constantly requires employees to learn and improve, which is quite stressful. The internal and external training sessions it arranges are all courses on topics such as communication and management.
4. There is a book club every week, and all employees are required to attend. The group reads one book at a time, with a set number of pages assigned for each session, and everyone has to share their views. There is also a monthly “Fruit Person” session where you have to share your views and make a declaration.
6. Some departments work overtime on a very regular basis.
