You can take 5–6 days of leave at once to plan an overseas trip, as long as you arrange your own work properly; your supervisor won’t make things difficult. At my previous company, they would always make a fuss about it.
The company is very generous when it comes to travel. They put real effort into planning the itineraries, and the accommodations are excellent—for example, the InterContinental in Kaohsiung and Silks Place Taroko. I normally can’t bear to spend that much, so I always look forward to the company trips. They’re absolutely perfect.
I look forward to overseas trips even more: good food and good accommodations, with subsidies based on seniority. The subsidy amount is high, and I really hope the company organizes an overseas trip every year.
The environment is bright and comfortable. A cleaner comes regularly, the coworkers are easy to get along with, and the snack cabinet is restocked every day. There are always more snacks than we can finish.
It’s really busy when things get hectic, especially when rushing to close a project or when the system is unstable or goes down. You have to cooperate with overtime work.
If you don’t participate in activities, your supervisor will ask why.
