Better than some, worse than others.

-When you encounter bad people, the company won't deal with it; management will just continue to let things rot (it's like this at every plant). If you're lucky enough to have a good supervisor, you might be able to stay.

-Engineers are no longer paid overtime for meetings and working late, and are required to be on call.

-Job openings are posted, but in reality no one is hired. Staffing has been cut for several years; if you can get in, the position is basically a terrible one.

-Didn't get hired after the interview? That's normal. The company has been doing this for many years, creating a false impression. The department you join is always understaffed, and although job openings are posted, only one person is hired every 2–3 years. Now, staffing is basically handled by transferring people from plants that are close to shutting down, with priority given to filling positions at other plants. Apply at your own risk.
