There really are none.
I applied for an administrative assistant position. Because I like watching movies, I already knew about GaragePlay, and I had also been seeing job openings from the company on 104 for some time. However, after applying several times, I never received an interview invitation. When I received an invitation this time, I was initially very excited, but while searching online to prepare for the interview, I found that there were a lot of negative reviews about everything from the company’s owner and employees’ work experiences to the company’s systems and activities. I even found other job seekers asking whether things were still just as bad. As someone interviewing in 2024, my impression was that I would not want to work for this company.
After seeing all the negative reviews online, I decided to verify things for myself. After arriving at the company and filling out the forms, I waited for a while, and the person who eventually came in was the owner himself. The owner did not ask me to introduce myself. After looking through my résumé and asking about my work experience, he even confirmed which position I was applying for. When I asked about details of the job responsibilities, he only gave a general overview. He said the compensation would be discussed in the second interview, and then it ended—in less than 10 minutes. I could not feel any courtesy or respect from the owner toward the interviewee. My thought at the time was: everything written online was true.
