I really can’t think of any.
The company’s decisions are always very strange. You never know the reason behind a decision or who made the final call; managers always just say it was decided by upper management.
A sunset industry may be one that stays stagnant without growing or declines. Unfortunately, Gaolin is in decline: its annual revenue gets worse year after year, and senior management’s thinking is outdated—older even than the company itself. They only force sales staff to keep traveling to solicit orders. The problem is that even if salespeople travel until they drop, there are still no orders. The people who remain are those with nowhere else to go and no way to leave—a company with no development and no future.
