Your company’s HR is really very unprofessional. If this is meant to be a first-round interview, I suggest saying so clearly instead of disguising it as a “brief explanation of the position”....... It was scheduled for 15–30 minutes, but ended up taking 40 minutes. Probably only about 5 minutes were spent discussing the position; the rest of the time was spent trying every possible way to get information out of you. No matter how you answer, they immediately ask, “Why did you answer that way?” Honestly, it was very uncomfortable—they just kept going in circles. Even when I had questions about the position, they immediately asked why I wanted to ask,,,,what is this supposed to be? Is this an interview or a guessing game?
