Position: Internal Sales Assistant

1. On the day of the interview, the owner was out, so the interview was conducted by a “Sales Assistant” who had been with the company for two years. Since I have seven years of experience in the construction industry, during the latter half of the interview, this Sales Assistant began saying that Enchi’s salary definitely could not compare with the conditions offered by construction companies, where it is easy to earn an annual salary of one million. I initially just smiled and said that was not the case, but she became increasingly exaggerated. I asked her that, since she admired it so much, why she did not switch to developing a career in the construction industry. The interviewer replied: “I have thought about it too, but don’t people in your construction industry all get in through back doors or personal connections?” Her sarcastic tone made me feel extremely uncomfortable.
