Cons

The job was different from the position discussed in the interview.

If you arrived early, you were expected to start work ahead of time. If you left on time, you would be asked whether you had too little to do. Meanwhile, colleagues could sit at their desks scrolling on their phones and killing time without any issue.

If you took sick leave, you would receive a phone call reminding you not to take leave unless there was a serious reason. Yet the supervisor themselves took several days off to go to Singapore not long afterward.

Because the last day of the month fell on a Sunday, when I resigned, the supervisor demanded that I leave that Friday, saying that the resignation date was for the company to decide. Isn’t that termination? They acted like an emperor. Ah, in the end, they still let me put Sunday as the resignation date, then acted as if they were magnanimously letting bygones be bygones. Ridiculous.

Only one month before I left did they suddenly transfer me to the position I had originally interviewed for (they told me and transferred me on the same day), because the colleague in that position could no longer take it and fled. The manager even said there would be a bonus, but because I resigned, I got nothing.

I suggest giving each of the supervisors at my former company a copy of the Labor Standards Act.

Oh, and senior managers and members of the inner circle would smoke at the employee entrance and exit without caring even when they saw pregnant women. They promote concern for the health of the people, yet do not care whether their employees develop lung cancer.
