Pros

Suitable for beginners with absolutely no experience, ideas, or plans to enter the village.

Once you’ve reached the maximum level in fighting monsters and gained a solid understanding, you can seek further development elsewhere.

Cons

1. The promotion system is not transparent enough. It feels like there are no substantive standards or benchmarks, and the salary increase system may depend on the company’s mood or personal preferences.

2. Workload allocation cannot be done fairly and does not fully support aptitude-based development. You can privately request an increased workload to raise your performance figures.

3. Quarterly bonuses are paid relatively late; the actual payment of the first-quarter bonus is made in the middle of the second quarter.

(PS. These are performance-based bonuses, not discretionary goodwill bonuses. They should be paid together with salary. Employees may need to repeatedly verify the payment standards and other bonus-related matters, including whether they comply with the Labor Standards Act.)

4. Being late requires you to take half a day of mandatory leave with a corresponding salary deduction, while you are still required to handle work matters.

5. The compensatory-leave overtime system is unfriendly. Overtime is frequently worked as a matter of course, but hours are only counted starting from two hours, and overtime is forcibly counted only beginning half an hour after the end of the regular workday.

Additional note for point 4: There is no overtime pay; employees are uniformly forced to take compensatory leave instead.

6. The company does not have complete written or electronic policies for attendance and leave, bonuses, salaries, promotions, and other related matters for employees to retain. At the time of joining, it also does not provide all of these policies or let you review standard information in full. (You can only obtain illustrated instructions on how to request leave, a staff benefits classification, and a seating chart.) Everything is announced in simplified PowerPoint format, making it difficult for employees to obtain complete and clear information.
