The jobs matched are relatively uncommon in the market.
I have encountered at least five consultants. On one occasion, two consultants contacted me at the same time about the same job.
Let me start with the most recent example.
1. When I asked about the salary range, the answer was vague. I already work for a foreign company, and my salary level is quite high. I also made it clear that if the salary offered could not meet my expectations—namely, 20% of my annual salary—there was no need to continue discussing it and waste each other’s time. I had given a very clear target, yet the answer I received was still unclear.
2. From the beginning, they kept aggressively pressuring me to submit my résumé, which made me feel very uncomfortable. They rushed the job seeker to revise the résumé without explaining what the urgency was. A complete résumé requires time to include the necessary details and tailor it to the position being applied for.
In summary, it feels like the consultant simply wants to find someone to pass along to the employer.
The next time I see this company, I will probably skip it. I have had too many negative experiences, and it is a waste of time.
