They are very short-staffed because the turnover rate is extremely high, so it is easy to get into the industry.
The salary and bonuses are decent. I heard that if you are short on money, you can spend an extra hour or so just wandering around and chatting there and still count it as overtime pay.
1. At the subsidiary, for managers at or above the regional-manager level in the Central Taiwan area, it really comes down to their character and conscience. If they are terrible but you are sweet-talking and have a good relationship with them, you are a treasure no matter how poorly you perform.
2. I heard they will even threaten and deliberately make things difficult for you directly in the all-staff group chat, openly putting you on the spot. There are also quite a few internal cliques, which can make you lose faith in the company.
3. If you stay in a small unit at the breeding facility, you should not expect to get a raise at all. Your supervisor does not care how hard you work. If you want opportunities for promotion or a raise, forget about it. Just treat it as a part-time job. Do not overwork yourself; taking care of your health is what matters. Even if you see a doctor and have documentation, they will still suspect that you are faking it, and they may even call you in for questioning and threaten you, asking whether you pretended to be sick to get leave!
5. If they dislike you, they will transfer you around arbitrarily. There are many strange people among the employee trainees, and after making a mess of things, they simply collect their year-end bonus and run off.
6. After a collective complaint was filed with the labor bureau, even after being fined, they still did not change. After all, the group has enough money to clean up after these managers who cause trouble.
