You will encounter many coding problems, which can help you build foundational skills in a short period of time.
Situation before leaving the company
1. The company stated that this was a position under a responsibility-based work system, but did not submit the arrangement to the Labor Bureau for approval.
2. Overtime was required on weekdays without overtime pay. Employees were also not given overtime forms to sign, and when overtime pay was later claimed, the company evaded payment by saying that no form had been signed.
3. Although the company promoted agile development, it often modified the database structure without warning or notification after pages had been completed. This caused page functions to malfunction, after which responsibility was assigned to the employee, who had to find the problem independently, often resulting in wasted work.
4. Database data was deleted without authorization, causing functions to malfunction.
5. One supervisor had a problem with losing emotional control and shouting at other employees. Employees were subjected to emotional attacks and unfounded, harsh, and cutting verbal attacks.
6. The company used projects that had already been overdue before the employee joined as a reason for withholding the year-end bonus.
7. They paint overly grand pictures of the future.
Additional situation:
The company called department personnel into the meeting room one by one to ask about the possibility of layoffs. A supervisor also left a message in the company's communication software explaining the layoff information and asking whether employees intended to stay. However, after an employee hired a lawyer to send the company a letter regarding mediation over the layoff, the company changed its story and said that this had never happened. It then called everyone in the department, including unrelated employees, into the meeting room and used threatening language, saying that the industry was small and advising everyone to behave themselves.
Conclusion: This is a company that sounds very appealing before you join, but is very difficult to leave on good terms.
