Large company
The HR interviewer sent me a personal email asking me to fill in my information, along with an interview invitation through 104.
During this period, I immediately replied to the private email, informing the company that I would be unable to attend that day.
As for the interview invitation sent through 104, I also never replied to accept it. Yet, on the day the company had originally scheduled the interview with me (even though I had never agreed or replied that I would attend), I received a message from the company saying that my documents needed to be submitted immediately and that the interview manager was waiting for me. It was extremely baffling. At the time, I wondered whether they had not received my email, and I also apologized.
After I informed them through 104 messages, and following their subsequent explanations and messages, I received an immediate complaint from the company accusing me of missing a job interview. I thought, since I had never agreed to attend in the first place, how could it be considered a no-show?
I later filed an appeal and protest regarding the alleged no-show. This incident greatly affected my impression of the company. I also came to understand that the company treats applicants who neither reply to accept nor decline an invitation as though they intend to attend.
The company acts extremely self-important, so you have to be very careful when dealing with them. Fortunately, I never actually joined.
